Salvation

Are you wandering in the darkness of sin with no real hope for your life?

Jesus Christ is the answer.

John 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:17  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Man is condemned for not believing upon Jesus Christ as his personal Savior.

John 3:19a  He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Man hates the light because it exposes his sin.
John 3:19b  And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
John 3:20  For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

Be honest with yourself and face your sin before God.

John 3:21  But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

You must come to the place in your life of being honest before God concerning your desire for darkness (sin). You must turn from sin to the light (Jesus Christ) and entrust your life to Him to be saved from Hell (eternal punishment for sinners).

John 8:12  Jesus said, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Let Jesus Christ, the light of the world, come into your life to experience and know the real joy of a Christ-filled life.

Pray this prayer:

Dear God, I admit that I am a sinner. I choose to turn from all my sins and trust in Jesus Christ to be my personal Savior. I give you control of my life. Amen.

Christianity is simple because it rests in the eternal work of God. It is not a religion based on the good works of man, but simply letting God take control of one’s life. God’s desire is to live through man.

First, man must understand that there are two forces which oppose each other, God and Satan. Satan is an angel created by God, who rebelled against God. God cast Satan out of heaven to the earth. Since then Satan has sought to tempt mankind to disobey God. Satan tempted Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden to disobey the Word of God. They yielded to Satan’s temptation by eating of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil of which God had instructed them not to eat. Because of this sin, man has been separated from a personal relationship with God. All of man’s good works can never restore this right relationship.

God therefore, seeking to restore this relationship has sought man’s deliverance from sin through the eternal work of His Son, Jesus Christ. It is Jesus who was sent by God the Father to live a sinless life, die by shedding His sinless blood to make full payment for the sins of man. It is up to each individual to surrender to God’s convicting power against sin. He then must repent of his sins by turning from his sin and entrusting all his sin to Jesus Christ. God knowing the sincerity of man’s heart cry to Him, causes man to become born-again to a right relationship with God. Man is then empowered by the nature of God to be able to live for Him through yielding to the indwelling leadership of His Holy Spirit. This is the simplicity of true Christianity.

If you realize your lost condition in sin, simply cry out to God and turn from your sin, confess it to God and believe upon Jesus Christ to be your eternal Savior from sin. Then by faith in Jesus Christ turn from your sin and let Him guide and diret your life. Only Jesus Christ is able to save you from your sin. John 1:12, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:”

Receive Jesus Christ as your Savior today and let Him live through you.
